Sample 4 - pillow frag; 0-4 mm glass; aphyric; 0-2 mm glass on bottom; minor palagonite, Fe, Mn; vesicular layer near top. Sample 5,6,10 - flow (pillow) frags with rough "pock marked" under sfc; 0-10 mm pc phyric glass; pc phyric rock (1-6 mm); medium grained; pipe vesicles, very minor palagomite. Sample 7 - mulitple layer flow frag, 4 glassy horizons + bottom, pc phyric rock & glass; sparsely vesicular; patchy palagonite, Fe oxide. Sample 8,12,13 - flow frags; fine to medium grained; glass on top & bottom, aphyric (11) to abundant pc (12); sparsely vesicular pipe vesicles; large gas holes; minor Fe oxidation. Sample 9 - pillow toe, 0-5 mm glass; cooling fractures; sparsely pc phyric; minor vesicles; minor palagonite. Sample 11 - flow frag, fine grained; aphyric; 0-4 mm glass; large vug on bottom; minor Fe oxide/palagonite; sparse vesicles.
