Poorly sorted, medium to coarse, quartzose sand (20 to 40% of the trawl material) is composed of 50% generally sub-rounded fine to very coarse sized glassy and frosted quartz grains (some stained by limonite) with epidote, brown garnet, glass, and lithic pebbles and grains of medium to coarse size.
