| Description: | Rock samples ranging in size from (30x30x8.5 cm) to (3.5x3.0x3.0 cm). Rock types include: metabasalt, pyroxenite, metagabbro, meta (micro) gabbro, meta basite, gabbro and pl-basalt. Pebble dredge yielded ~60 specimens of angular to sub-angular meta gabbro and metabasalt. Their combined weight in ~ 5 lbs. Samples have been cut for geochemical analsis and thin section on the twenty nine larger samples. Small 1/2 " diameter cores for velocity studies were taken from P-5, P-6, P-10, P-12. |
