| Description: | Four rocks and a starfish were brought up by the dredge. Three of the rocks are igneous and one sedimentary. Two of the igneous fragments are gray colored andesite, while the third appears to be a mixture of quartz and dark-colored rock. Probably the latter has a doritic composition. The sedimentary rock consists of fine sand-sized, dark gray-colored grains cemented firmly together. All the rtocks are pebble-sized and have a low degree of roundness. The largest measures 7.4x5.7x4.5 cm. The smallest has a size of 1.4x1.3x1.2 cm. This pebble, one of the gray andesites, and the diorite pebble have definite bryozoan attachments to their surfaces. The other pebbles have graowths on their surfaces, but it is different to distinguish which kind. |
